and I live in Tucson,AZ with four of my five children
and my hubby of 28 years, Kenneth.
I not only design and make web pages and graphics, (love that PSP!)
I belong to a group called the SCA,
a medieval reenactment group which keeps me busy making clothes,
designing logos and such, attending meetings and events,
cooking, camping and my newest love Archery.
Most of the family is involved and loves every minute.
I remember when Disney World was a cow pasture. :o)
I am going to turn 49 on October 18th 2005.
I have two half brothers, Mike and Ricky.
I grew up with Mike, but I have only met Ricky once.
I am the survivor of an abusive marriage that lasted for 13 years.
I have a son (Lief 26) from that marriage and another son (Kyle 12)
from my second marriage to Richard
who is the sweetest man I have ever known.
My favorite things are spending time with my family,
animals and my computer.
I have a website with linkware and purchaseware graphics.
And a website with domestic abuse help and information.
and I guess that pretty much covers my personality.
I am the very proud 52 year old mother
of a 13 1/2 year old adopted son named Christopher.
I live on a beautiful lake with my husband Mark
(also 52 until he becomes the "older man" on his birthday
a whole 40 days before mine),
our son Chris and our part lab part pain in the butt dog, Kelly.
Chris was born with a moderately severe unilateral clefting of the lip,
gums and hard and soft palates.
He is a brave soul and I am so proud of him that I am near to bursting.
To say he is the joy of our lives would be a gross understatement;
he is the center of our world.
I am a stay at home mom and a published author.
Most of my writings center around Christopher, at least for now.
I do have a novel coming out that is a murder mystery
and a second in the works that is Native American based
but most of my writings center around being a mother
and the wonder of adoption.
I love to cook! Just get me started on recipes!
I also enjoy reading (I read The Grapes of Wrath at age eleven),
movies and counted cross stitch.
